I recently followed my hairstylist, Heather Lester, to her new salon, J. Carmen, and it’s a fantastic upgrade! The salon has a welcoming, charming atmosphere and plenty of convenient parking with a large lot connected to the building, plus another one just across the street—finding a spot was a breeze. Heather has been styling my hair, my wife’s, and both of my high school daughters’ hair for a while now, and I highly recommend her to anyone in the Westerville or Columbus area. She’s always up-to-date on the latest trends, offers spot-on recommendations, and brings a fun, lighthearted energy to every appointment. Located in the heart of downtown Westerville, J. Carmen is surrounded by great shops and dining options too, making the entire experience even better. Give it a try—you won’t be disappointed!

Wow just wow! Tony transformed my daughters hair into supermodel status. Do not go to those snobby, pricey salons again! J Carmen is by far the BEST salon in all of Columbus! The customer service, attention to needs and overall vibe was the BEST salon experience ever! Thank you J Carmen we will always come back!!

Incredibly disappointed. Anthony gave me bleached money pieces, which I was very happy with! I came back to add more to the money pieces and add a 'halo' effect to my hair. He took my hair to a level 10, which I didn't ask for but was moderately happy with. However, the application was sloppy, and my roots immediately after were about 1 inch out. He offered to fix it, which again, I was happy about. He completely overprocessed my hair. The pieces framing my face and half of the 'halo' broke off the day after the service. I have been trying to get a refund for over a month now. I'm not sure if he blocked me or what, but I'm so incredibly disappointed. I had to chop off half of my length so my hair wouldn't break every time I brushed it. I paid almost 200 dollars for a terrible service. I trusted Anthony with my hair and he completely ruined it.

Go see Jersey. She has over 20 years of experience as a master stylist and colorist and is always up to date with new hair tends, colors and styles. She always does an amazing job. Salon is very cute with affordable prices. I like the smaller salon vibe and feel. Very comfortable here for "just you" or a cut for the whole family. You won't be disappointed.
